Randy Hatzenbuhler Featured on ‘Scoping it Out’ Friday

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Randy Hatzenbuhler, president of the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, will be our guest at 4:45 p.m. CST Friday during a segment of “Scoping It Out,” on News Radio KEYZ 660.

This will be an opportunity to salute “Gentleman” Wade Westin who was laid to rest on Wednesday in Bismarck.

Family and friends came from near and far to pay a final tribute to Westin, a man who proved to the “Face of Medora,” after a stellar career with the TRMF.

At the young age of 34 Westin passed on, but one thing for certain, he won’t be forgotten.

Having spent seven years directly involved in the Medora Musical, Westin spent a good period of time as the marketing director and publications voice of the TRMF.

Over those 10 years he became a figure in Medora and a key figure in the famed production.

‘Gentleman’ Wade Westin Will Leave His Mark

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

We are saddened to report that a great friend and a great friend of the state and Medora is no longer with us.

Wade Westin, a native of Zahl, passed away Friday evening at the young age of 34.

This talented individual was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, individuals we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

It’s hard to imagine the number of lives he touched in such a short time, starring in the Medora Musical, along with serving as the Marketing Director for the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.

We had the pleasure of watching him grow and develop into a ‘Gentleman.’

May he Rest in Peace.
