‘March Madness’ Has Definitely Arrived
While the term “March Madness” has been dubbed for the college basketball playoffs, we must say 2009 will go down as a month that is truly mad.
The way Mother Nature has treated us of late will be one for the record books.
The worst part is she isn’t about to let up with even more snow and wet stuff on the way.
That means folks had best get out and take advantage before another blast of winter comes roaring in.
Sooner or later it will be nice enough to get outdoors.
But by then we will be complaining because we have to mow the grass and put up with the heat.
To top that off those pesky mosquitoes will be swarming.
Hey, that’s for another day.
SCOPE SALUTE TO WATFORD CITY
We take this opportunity to send out a Scope Salute to the Watford City Wolves on a strong showing at the Class B boys basketball tournament.
The Wolves in a tough go in the opener, but bounced back in the second, putting themselves in position to grab some tourney hardware.
Once the Class B tourney is complete sports fans can turn their attention to spring activities, if and when that happens.
