Things Begin to Improve For Folks in Fargo Area

It’s a huge sigh of relief for the folks in the Fargo-Moorhead area with the raging Red River coming to a crest at approximately 41-feet.

While not out of the woods, this is certainly great news and a lot of folks are still holding their breaths to see if the sandbags do the job.

The effort put forth by thousands is something that has to be applauded.

While we sit out on the western edge, away from the destruction, it is tough to watch what is taking place.

We do know a lot of good folks from this part of the state rallied and made a trip east to join in the effort.

Much like the Grand Forks flood, good people across the state stepped up and pitched in to do whatever was necessary.

Now, Mother Nature must do her part and get on with some real spring weather.

One thing for certain a lot of baseball, track and golf teams are waiting for a change in the weather.

Another thing we can say, this is something that doesn’t happen every year.

For that we are most thankful.
