Scoping It Out

While hard to believe for some, the month of May is just around the corner.

As they say, “April showers, bring May flowers.”

Well, the only trouble is the showers have been limited but the white stuff has provided a good amount of moisture.

The only thing now is a need of some warm temperatures to allow time to get in the ground, and this certainly applies to area farmers who are itching to get after it.

This has to be one of the longest winter’s on the books, but all we can do now is move ahead.

That means concentrating on spring chores and get the lawnmowers in the ready position.

Spring also means a time to get to the great outdoors to take part in the game of golf, baseball and the sport of fishing, to name a few.

Folks in Minnesota are getting excited as the opener is set for Mother’s Day Weekend.

We hope to be on hand to take part in all the fun.
