Christmas Commercials Begin to Fill Airwaves

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Well folks, like it or not, the Christmas season is upon us.

Not about to let Thanksgiving be honored as a special holiday, the giants are doing early battle for your pocket books.

With a number of commercials being played, the outlets such as Sears believe it is best to get an early jump on things.

Then again, this just might be a good way to ease the pressure of the season.

The best thing to do is jump on board and enjoy the ride.

Complaining isn’t going to do any good as we are outnumbered.

Hang on and get in the spirit the best you can.

Perfect timing.

With what some call an undeclared state holiday, the gun deer hunting season opens at noon Friday (Nov. 6) with more than 80,000 hunters taking to the fields.

No doubt the hunters would like the weather a little cooler and perhaps some white stuff on the ground to provide for better tracking, but most other folks aren’t complaining.

Mother Nature has finally shined on us with some great temps and it appears to be in the cards for a few days to come.

Meanwhile, the timing was perfect with the Minnesota Vikings having a bye week on Sunday.

This allows the hunters time to get after their big game, while others can tend to those chores they have been putting off for some time.

None the less, winter will come, as it’s only a matter of time.

A lot of folks are getting in the holiday spirit, being helped by commercials being run calling attention to early sales.

While it’s hard to believe some folks even have Christmas decorations in place.
