Scoping It Out

 Hey folks, there’s plenty to do in this area over the next few days.

In Williston alone you can take in The Radio Stars on Friday evening at the Virgil Syverson Performance Center at Harmon Park.

The Radio Stars are on tour and will present a great show at 7 p.m. Friday.

That will be coupled with The Blast set for a full day of fun Friday, leading up to the evening street dance.

Included in the fun is a rib contest which makes for some great eating.

On Saturday action returns to Harmon Park and the VSPC with Hometown Williston providing a full slate of fun.

Hey, even Elvis is scheduled to perform, along with the City Band.

In addition the good folks in Wildrose are celebrating, while Tioga has a big event.

With summer finally here it’s time to hit the road and get out and visit North Dakota’s No. 1 tourist attraction.

We speak of Medora.

Medora is well known for the musical and the pitchfork fondue, but wait, Medora is a lot more.

Now with the renovation of the Rough Riders Hotel you have luxury accommodations along with fine dining and a top rate lounge.

If you haven’t had an opportunity to view Joey O, you had best make a special trip to Medora.

Joey O is a highly talented performer and gives you plenty of lessons in the game of golf.

Having performed around the world, with a previous appearance on The Tonight Show, Joey O is performing Wednesday through Monday beginning at 11 a.m. each day.

You can find him at the entrance to the Medora Campgrounds.

Plan now to join the fun at the annual Upper Missouri Valley Fair.

The county fair begins June 22 (Tuesday) with the Colgate Country Show as an evening feature.

Activities run through June 27 (Sunday) and there’s plenty to do for everybody.

A number of attractions are in store, however the Williston Basin Speedway will feature the 11th annual CanAm Modified Shootout for two nights.
