Warming trend is on the way - Yahoooooo!!

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

Well folks, just about the time we thought things were going to be nice, Mother Nature turned on us and hurled a curve ball.

That proved to be a nasty blast of winter which proved to be way too early.

If you’re like me, there’s plenty of projects still to do before winter can make its way here.

That includes getting the vehicles in tip top shape as to avoid any major breakdowns on nasty mornings.

For now all we can do is wait for a break in the action and get after it to get everything done.

Hey, it wouldn’t be any fun if we didn’t have excitement.

Snow, wind blows across North Dakota

Well folks, like it or not, winter has arrived.

While the forecast looks good for some warmer days ahead, this should serve as a warning shot to get things done.

That means clean up any last minute yard projects along with getting your automobiles in winter condition.

Getting an appointment to have work done in Williston is almost impossible these days as you must call well in advance to be placed on a list.

Things aren’t like they used to be and we all need to adjust.

One can only hope this winter is fairly mild and will allow for some outdoor activities.

Then again, the days will roll by regardless.

The best thing to do is enjoy each and every day.

Mother Nature has a weak moment

Yes, Mother Nature must not be feeling right.

After all, she has unleashed some beautiful days and the forecast for the rest of the week is fantastic.

Now is time to get out and take care of all those projects you have been putting off.

At the same time this type of weather allows for fans to enjoy outdoor activities.

No doubt folks are taking advantage and getting in more golf as the courses remain open.

With fall in the air this also means pheasant hunting is around the corner.

On that note we remind all hunters to practice safety first as they venture out in the country.

Especially this year as farmers are still in the fields finishing up the late harvest.
