Happy Thanksgiving is Extended

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

We send out a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Mother Nature decided to get in the act with a storm watch causing travel problems on the ground and through the air.

The best thing is to count to 10 and take what comes and roll with the punches.

When Mother Nature decides to play she seems to get her way.

For now, where ever you may be, enjoy.

Next week we turn the calendar and that finds us in the last month of 2010.

The best thing to do is enjoy each day and look forward to what lies ahead.

Thanksgiving is fast approaching

Sunday, November 21st, 2010

Yes folks, believe it or not, Thanksgiving is upon us.

That means a time of giving thanks for all the things we enjoy.

The many blessings that have been enjoyed include freedom.

Recently we celebrated Veteran’s Day and gave thanks to them for securing and preserving our freedom.

Now this is a period of time to enjoy what we have, but not take things for granted.

At this point we want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Once we have this feast out of the way it will be time to be thinking about that Big Guy in the red suit.

Actually Santa was spotted in Medora over the weekend at the all-new Rough Riders Hotel.

At this historic site Santa dropped in for the weekend, while planning to return for the first three weekends in December.

Now that sounds like a lot of fun.

Veterans can stand tall today (Nov. 11)

We send out a Scope Salute to all veterans, while pausing to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

On this Veteran’s Day it is time to take some time to remember those who have stepped in harms way in defense of our country.

Without these brave men and women we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the many benefits of freedom.

Sometimes we tend to take that for granted.

All we ask is for you to take a few minutes out of your busy lives and salute all veterans.
