Old Man Winter is making a come back

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

It has been a few days since the Scope has hammered out anything.

Perhaps the break in the weather with temps above 40 degrees have called for time outdoors.

But, wouldn’t you know it, just about the time things were looking good somebody has to come along and mess things up.

Oh well, the projection is short term and we just have to make a slight adjustment and live with it.

Otherwise, life is good.

BUSY WEEKEND

Coyote teams are busy in tourney action with the matmen off to state seeking a number of individual crowns.

Not making the cut as a team, the Coyotes will have to come out with individual titles.

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that.

On the home front Hockey Across America is being celebrated and that takes us to the Agri Sport arena for a steak fry and fun on Sunday.

That sounds like a great way to celebrate.

You’re invited to come out and join in the festivities.

Lions to Host Super Sunday Pancake Feed

Friday, February 4th, 2011

If you’re looking for a great breakfast on Sunday the place to be is the Fellowship Hall at First Lutheran Church in Williston.

There the Area Lions will be joining hands in serving up the annual pancake and sausage breakfast.

It all begins around 8:30 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m.

Proceeds from this effort will go to help the fight against diabetes.

This is a great way to get your Super Bowl weekend going.
