NDSU Bison capture national grid title
Congratulations are in order for Craig Bohl and the North Dakota State University Bison football team on capturing the national title in the Division I FCS series.
The Bison traveled to Frisco, Texas on Saturday and came home with a 17-6 win over No. 1 ranked Sam Houston State.
Sam Houston had a high-powered offense, but on this day the Bearkats were no match for the strength of the Bison.
The Bearkats were kept out of the endzone, scoring on only two field goals.
This proved to be a big day for Bison fans with the first Division I title being achieved in a very short time.
